I can't play this. The saves it creates are "locked". Thats what it says in the menu. It forces me to start over at the beginning every time. Obviously, I'm not going to play if I can't save. This "feature" actually seems to be build into the product. It shows the saves, but labeles them as "locked". All of them, the auto-saves and the checkpoints. This is somehow a "feature" people would want
Something worth noting here; Blood Dragon is a standalone game, so you don’t need the original Far Cry 3 (or much familiarity with it, really) to play. It’s effectively a full conversion mod
Overall if you're looking for a comedy/satire open world sci fi action shooter with 15 hours of gameplay, Blood Dragon is your thing. Otherwise, if you want an open world action rpg that's significantly larger and longer, Far Cry 3 is the way to go. Personally I would go with far cry 3, just because the game/price ratio is so much better.
It's not on the PS Store, and the USD is worth four times more than my local currency, so I'll stick with Blood Dragon. I played fc3 and blood dragon on pc, blood dragon is way better in my opinion, i dont know how it runs on the ps3 though. i played it on 360, it was hilariously awesome. Fun FPS.
